2/3/06--- Sycamore Soccer Club
Annual Meeting
The Sycamore Soccer Club had its
Annual Meeting on 2/2/06 at the Blue Ash Recreation Center. The current
Board members reported on their accomplishments for 2005. Elections were
held and Bill Posey will remain on the board. There were two new board
members elected, Pete Gamber and Missy Ciricillo.

ARSENAL Premier Boys U14 (Simpson) were
champions of CUSL U14 Premier Division! The team was also
successful in several tournaments this Fall 2005 season. They were
finalists in the Cincinnati Hi-Five Challenge (10/15-16) and were finalists at
the Fishers Halloween Classic (10/29-30).

ARSENAL Premier U11 Boys (Duncan) win the
Lexington Invitational Tournament! The Arsenal Premier Boys won
the LIT completing their weekend with a 4-0-0 record. The team beat Blitz
(Evansville, IN), Lexington FC, NK United Hotdogs, and NK United Red. A
great effort was made by all players as they finished the weekend with 15 goals
and were unscored upon. Earlier in the season the Arsenal Premier U11 Boys
were semifinalists (3rd place) in the Arsenal Challenge
Cup.

Girls U14 Premier) also leads Madeira High School Varsity Girls team to Division

Girls U14 Premier are CUSL CHAMPS. Beyond the great soccer play and competition, the U14 girls
coached and trained by Lisa Surace with support from assistant Dan Brady and
Director of Coaching, Scott Rodgers, compiled some impressive results this
fall:

With a 5-0-2 record,
the team was the only undefeated team in the Premier Bracket!

note, in the CUSL league bracket, ARSENAL played top ranked
teams in Ohio South: #2 (Cardinals), #4 (Lakota), #6 (Warren County), #7
(Classic Hammer), #16 (Westside Bombers), #22 (Miami Township) and played the #3
ranked team in Kentucky (NK United Cobras, who were also State Cup
finalists).

Fall '05 Tournaments:
Champion of OP Invitational (Premier bracket), Semi-finalist, Mead Cup
(Premier), Finalist FC Pride Cup (Platinum), Semi-finalist (3rd place) for
Arsenal Challenge Cup (Gold).

ARSENAL success at Mead
Cup: Four Sycamore teams advanced into the semifinal and final
rounds at The Mead Cup over Labor Day. The ARSENAL Boys U12 (Hackett) won the U12 Gold
Bracket!! The Sycamore Girls U11 (Miller, in the Five-Star Division),
U13 (Crossley, in the Gold Division) and U14 (Surace, earning a 4-1 record in
the Five Star Division, losing to the eventual Division champions) teams
finished as semifinalists! Congratulations to
all!!

Two ARSENAL teams make their final games at the ARSENAL Classic Cup. The ARSENAL Boys U11 (Juran) were champions of the
Silver Division, beating Grove City 3-0 and CWSC Rage Black 5-2. The team
tied Lakota United 1-1 in the preliminary round, and went on to beat Michigan
Wolves 95 Gold 5-0 in the finals! The ARSENAL Boys U13 (Batty) team were finalists in
the Bronze Division. Sycamore defeated Fishers Force 1-0, Extreme 2-0, and
Mockingbird Green 2-1. They eventually lost to NK United Red 1-3 in the
final game.

The ARSENAL U-14 Premier Boys (Simpson)
were Finalist (2nd Place) in The Northwest Ohio Soccer
Festival which
took place August 13-14 in Toledo, Ohio. The team won 3 games and lost in
the final.

Arsenal U14 girls
celebrate after scoring a goal at the 2005 Mead Cup where they were
semi-finalists with a 4-1 record.
